ABOUT US
We are both commercial fishermen/women here on Matheson Island. We operate our B&C Tours Land and Water year round.
Connie lives for the outdoors. She is an avid gardener and loves working in the flower beds. She also loves to cook and bake. She loves doing things with children.
Brent (Smitty) lives for hunting, fishing, boat rides, etc. He loves doing all kinds of crafts. Antler carvings, furniture making (out of Diamond Willow), etc.
We both enjoy being outdoors in all seasons and live a very quiet lifestyle.
We consider ourselves very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place and would love to share it with you.

B&C Boat Charters and Guiding Service is located at the end of Highway #234. A three hour drive north of Winnipeg. You follow #8 Highway passed Riverton (Manitoba) enroute to Gull harbour. You turn left at Highway #234 down to the end of the higway (approx. 1 1/2 hours). You will come to a cable Ferry "Ingemar Carlson II". You take approximately a 2 minute ferry ride (FREE) across to Matheson Island. The ferry will automatically come over to the main land to pick you up when they see you arrive, as well as when you leave. During winter, you ride across the ice road (2 minute crossing).
After you arrive on Matheson Island, follow the road to the end. You will see the aiistrip. Turn right and follow the road down to the Lake front. We are located on the right hand side of the road. There is a sawblade sign in the front of our business. If by any chance you get lost, just stop and ask for the friendly people where Smitty and Connie live.
